Garret seemed to be milling it over for a while his eyes looking about as he thought on the deal. "I know its quite possible that they are dead Alex" he said as he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. "I just want to for once be able to give a proper name" he said as he let out a long deep sigh. "I want to know where I'm from my history who I am. I am Sick of calling my self Garret Doe."
There was a slight sigh and for a moment his attention wavered and he walked out in to the direct light of a street lamp. He of course flinched and jumped back in to the more semi dark area his hands suddenly tucked under the jacket as he started to curse him self. “Gods damn it” he cursed as he hid him self and even in the dim light in the street the pain on his face became quite clear. Light did not just sting him it burnt.

Alex nodded a bit. "Ahh, as in Jon Doe, the unknown identity...Clever temporary name." She said as she looked around. "Well we're almost back, we can get started on finding your parents right away, or if you want we can always start in the morning. We have plenty of extra rooms set up what with most of my team in Europe for what I think is going to be a permanent basis." She explained before hearing the wince, her eyes darting to him, frowning a bit when she saw his reaction to the light.
"Ok, change of plan then, first thing I'll work on is blacking out some windows in a room for you." She said with a slightly joking tone, trying to make him think a bit lighter about his powers. "It might take a bit but we can probably set you up with a kitchen in your suite so you don't have to worry about the light in the main part of the building, if you want, whatever makes this easier on you." She offered as she rounded a corner, the HQ now in sight.

"no I'm ok its just sudden changes in light that hurt the most" he said as he looked in to her eyes for a moment before covering up his hands. "Just never turn a light on when I'm in the room,” he told her his lips pressing firmly together as he saw the building in sight. "Ill just be more careful thou blacking out my room and removing the light bulb might be a good idea"
He was silent for a moment before walking up to the front door. “Other kids in the orphanage used to at times take great delight in trying to sneak up on me and point the flash lights at me.” He said as he paused at the front door and looked on over her “they continued till they realised I don’t need light to see or at least not much.”
