Alex let out a sigh as she reached for her tea. She's been on her laptop all morning trying to locate Goblin and Nimue...It wasn't like either of them to run off without any word, and it's been days since she saw either of them.

"Wish you were here mom..." She said to herself as she recalled the locating spells Nadya used to use to find missing peoples. She's been at this for hours and still to no luck...It never took her this long to find anyone before, especially her own team mates.

Darious had been around the office all morning, and night. It seemed the man never went home, did he even know where he lived? Dressed in a black suit, and smaller glasses then usual one would think that he was going out later on. He had been wearing the outfit for three days now. He sat in a black chair in a random office. It had large windows with no curtains. You could see construction across the street, along with a busy city below.

Mutant Town was the most beautiful city ever in his eyes. He stood from his chair and gazed down below at his fellow kind. Though some had blue skin, green, and other odd colors; He may not have known them, yet he loved them. He smiled while looking at them. He returned to his seat and finished reading a file. It was a old assignment that was never solved. Why was Darious still pursing the suspect, or assignment? Simple. His job was his life, without it he might have went on a killing spree, or even joined The Brotherhood. X-factor was his Shield and it happened to be his Saviour

His blue hues scanned over the text that was on the paper.

From the sights of it....Someone was acting just like Jack the Ripper.

This was the last entry from Jamie Madrox; The founder of X-factor, also known as Multiple Man. He saw this man as his idol, and had taking a liking loving of his daughter; Alex ''Magik'' Madrox. His mind wondered off elsewhere, his blue hues left the paper and stared at the door. His mouth curved, forming a smile.

In his mind;;

The sound of chirping birds, the sight of flowers and butterflies. Something only meant to be in a fantasy. He was wearing his Investigating outfit, and sat on a white and red sheet. Next to him sat a lovely lady Goddess Alex Madrox. In his right hand where purple grapes, he was slowly feeding her. You could feel the intense emotion of romance, and love. Something he never felt in his life, only in his mind. Only in his mind could he have such a wonderful moment. Slowly his pink lips drew closer to her perfect lips. They clashed, engaging in a deep, passionate kiss.

He got up with a smile in his face and walked out the random office. His blue hues saw Magik and he quickly walked over to her. He could feel and see her trouble, but didn't know the reason he was feeling such a emotion. Slowly his daydream went away, and he started to want to express the best emotion he could; compassion. He walked over to her and pulled up a seat. As soon as his hues locked on with her, his cheeks flushed a violent red. "Everything alright?" He asked as he smiled, but the redness in his cheeks stayed.[/color][/center]

Startled by the sudden sound of his voice she jerked a bit, nearly spilling her tea all over the computer. She slowly placed the tea down as well as the laptop as she looked up to Darious. "Oh, it's just you..." She said with a friendly smile before glancing across the room to where the elevator to the living area was. "Were you in that office again? I know I didn't hear the elivator..."

She let out a sigh as she closed the laptop, giving up for now. "No, things are very wrong...Two of our members went missing." She explained.

Darious felt emotional pain when she said that. As if he wasn't important, or that she really didn't want to see him. He looked down in shame and looked back up at her. He had always crushed on her, but it never seemed mutual. He never really left the office. It was his home basically, his Sanctuary. When he heard things were wrong he sat on the edge on his seat. Did he finally have a moment to impress Alex? He'd take it and possibly over do it just to get her attention...Just for her. When he heard that two of their member went missing he knew it was a more serious matter then he had thought. He stood and looked down at her full of seriousness. Had they been attacked? Or maybe they went on a getaway? Everyone needed a break. He soon thought about it and the seriousness in his face soon went away, and turned into a soft, pleasant smile. "No need to worry. Maybe they went on a vacation. You guys really need a vacation, but who went missing?" He wasn't sure who went missing but he hadn't seen Goblin and Nimue in a while. He figured that Nimue took him under the ocean and to someplace romantic. Darious never had anyone attracted to him in his life, so he didn't know how such a emotion of love felt, but he knew it was pleasant."Maybe they're spending time at the beach, getting tans, etc" He said trying to make sure she didn't worry. His hues didn't and couldn't look away from her. She was perfect in his eyes....Did she know how he felt?

Alex shook her head a bit, knowing Darious was staring at her...But what could she do about that, she was his boss. I already contacted Namor, he's heard no word from Nimue...And thanks to that we now have an angry Atlantian king on our hands...The Morlocks are being a bit more reasonable about Goblin going missing...Again, they haven't heard from him, but at least they're taking steps toward looking for him instead of blaming people."

Alex had to place the laptop down on the table before the urge to punish it got too strong. "I want you to deposit a DNA sample into the lab by tonight...I was hoping to avoid this, but I'd rather not go through this with you too." Alex was beating herself up mentally, she could have avoided all of this if she just collected those damn samples years ago when the members first joined. But she hated the idea of having to do that, it felt like she was doing her own personal mutant registry. She always had trusted her members, but now things were getting out of hand, DNA samples were needed now.
