OOC:
Name: Alex is fine
Age: 19
Basics:
Name: Alexander "Alex" Mercer
Nick name: Prototype
Age: 99; physically appears to be in his early twenties
Powers: Alex possesses the power of biokinesis, the ability to manipulate biological systems such as cells. In his early years, this power was used mostly to heal others, in addition to himself, as well as limited shapeshifting. The enhancement serum used by Weapon X significantly enhanced his mutation, allowing him to quickly heal from highly mortal injuries, as well as constantly rejuvenating his cells, giving him the appearance that he had decades ago. It also highly improved his shapeshifting abilities, granting him a high amount of control over his biomass, allowing him to turn his arms into various weapons, such as hammers or blades; shapeshift into others in order to disguise himself; and enhance his physical properties, allowing him to lift great weights and make extreme leaps.

Background: ( I hope you'll excuse me if it's kind of short, since a lot of his history is unknown. )
The details of Alex Mercer's life aren't entirely known. His place of birth, his family life, his upbringing - all lost, due to his memory loss and the alteration of records. He is presumed to be American, and is at least 99 years old, in comparison to his physical age and history with Weapon X.
Some time in the late 1960s, Alex was an anti-war activist, using his powers in assistance of many groups. He was present at the Kent State Shootings, where his powers saved him from being shot. However, soldiers who witnessed this were able to bring him down, as per the orders of their commander officers.
Alex was kept under sedation while he was transported to Canada - to the laboratories of Weapon X. His powers were significantly enhanced, using a specialized serum. It was intended for this serum to be used on the other Weapon X subjects, with Alex being referred to as the prototype of what they expected.
After Logan's escape and the closure of the project, it was unknown what became of Alex. Only recently has he reappeared, and even he doesn't remember his past. The only hint to his past is his Weapon X tag, labeled "Alex Mercer: Prototype."
Sample RP: Alex could not afford to shuffle down the street like the average citizen of New York City. An ordinary person could count on other people seeing him, and could let common courtesy (or fear of pickpockets) help him to avoid a collision. An invisible man took all the responsibility for avoiding collisions onto his own shoulders. A lot of the time Alex would not even bother avoiding the pedestrians, and just let them wonder what they had walked into, but today he wasn't feeling like colliding with people. Still, even with the effort he had to put into guiding his steps, he still managed to lose himself in his thoughts as he walked.
His leg still twitched a little bit from having a taser shot at him. Its effects were finally beginning to wear off, leaving him free to consider the consequences of his actions. Had he done the right thing, leaving the kid on his own? He's no kid, Alex corrected himself, He's going to be stronger than any of us. Assuming he lives. Now, that was the kicker, wasn't it? There was a good chance that, in a few days' time, the whole city would go up in a puff of nuclear ash. That was the sort of thing that tended to put a damper on your whole day.
What if the city actually exploded? That would be a lot of people dead. A few million people dead. That was...that was bad. Despite his dislike for people, Alex was not ready to just stand by and let that happen. But what could he do? People were watching the kid, that was obvious. He couldn't go back there, it wouldn't be safe. He would...he would just have to trust the kid.
He had only seen a little of him when he was training the kid, but he had seemed like a quick learner. Granted, everyone learned quickly when their training was being thrown from buildings, but his progress was still nothing to sneeze at. The kid had potential. The other empaths Alex had heard about had all ended up badly, but with this kid there might be a chance. Alex would just have to trust that the kid could do it on his own.
In the meantime, it might be good for Alex to get out of New York City. He didn't want to get blown up or be found. He had heard the weather in Florida at this time of year was fantastic.
