A Walk in the Kitchen [Open!]

[Pariah]

A few hours had passed since the sun had first fallen, the night was still young, a cool breeze flowing through the city. The streets of Hell's Kitchen were mostly quiet, not too many brave souls willing to be out during the night on the rougher side of town. However, the sound of heavy footsteps against the pavement showed that there was at least one brave soul roaming the streets.

Pariah made her way down the sidewalk, darkened eyes slowly scanning everything around her. She walked with a very strange graceful yet mechanical walk. She was currently dressed in a black leather jacket, a metal laced belt, black jeans and knee-high black leather boots. Her brown hair was worn down, curling past her shoulders.

She currently didn't have a specific mission at the moment but she had been sent to the city to do her weekly patrols. The specifications of potential new 'recruits' were stored in her mind, as well as a list of profiles of former Weapons that had escaped or gone missing. As she approached a street corner, she came to a slow stop, pausing to take a look around the area before deciding which way to go next.

[Deadshot]

Deadshot was perched on the rail of a fire escape. She had just had dinner at a local dinner, blew it up in the process but it was already a lovely evening so she had no mind to ruin it. Her normal attire of ripped jeans, old jacket and the gun here and there.

Grinning she jumped down from her look out post. Someone else was just walking, even looked like she was enjoying it... on some weird level. "What happened to people being afraid to come out at night. Better to take care of the easy goers first." she muttered to herself. Stepping up her pace she approached the woman from behind. Pulled her gun, and pulled off a few rounds. Grinning all the while.

As the gunfire went off behind her, Pariah quickly turned around to see who was shooting and at what. Dark brown eyes fell upon the girl with the gun, giving her a bit of a curious look. Her head tilted slightly, a few curled strands of brown hair falling into her face. The youthful appearing mutant started to slowly walk toward the woman, her boots thudding softly on the sidewalk.

"Was that meant for me?" She asked in a cold, emotionless tone. The look in her eyes was a bit off, and intimidating. Her heads-up display was scanning over the woman, noting how she was standing, the look in her eyes, everything about her and currently planning her next action based off of the various answers Deadshot could potentially give her.

She missed. She wasn't sure why. Her main guess was she didn't care enough to use her power for that shot. Gun still up, she smiled. "From your walk and that look in your eye... you from some crazed-mutant catcher.." Her tone not accusing but amused. "..like we don't need another one of those..." she muttered to herself. Her forty caliber pistol, aimed this time, she wasn't real sure if gun was the best idea for this kill. 'Kinda quick.' she thought.

Remembering that the woman had asked a question, she said, "Why yes it was, didn't realize who you were... would of aimed to kill at first shot then.. Your just intruding on the lovely evening." Her smiled grew. "No prom queen how about you just walk away.. or just die.." She pulled another two rounds off, without further warning.
